Conclusiones
- With this new methodology using large field digital pictures where all experts had to identify exactly the same cells, we were able to refine definitions for blast cells and promyelocytes.
- We recommend that cells with granules and a clearly visible Golgi zone be recognised as promyelocyte but that granular cells without a Golgi zone and with other features of blasts should be regarded as blasts.
